25 facts about me (part 2).

If you missed part one it's here. Since I published those 25 facts other facts have been popping into my head at random intervals so I thought a second, and final, blog post was in order! I hope you enjoy reading my silly facts.

1) When I was in my teens my friends would say I was a boyband managers dream. Westlife, Boyzone, O Town (remember them!), Hanson, Busted, McFly. You name them, I probably liked them!

2) Talking of Busted, I had the chance to be in two of their videos but had to miss out due to A-level exams.

3) The A-levels I took were English Language, Textiles, Sociology and General Studies. I did very little revision and wish I had worked harder.

4) I hope to buy a Nissan Figaro in the next few years.

5) I passed my driving test (first time) about 10 years ago, and for 9 of those years I have been driving Smart cars.

6) My biggest celebrity crush is Joseph Gordon Levitt.

7) I have been to Orlando 5 times and absolutely love it there.

8) I visited the Natural History Museum when I was younger and the animatronic T-Rex made me cry. I am still scared of dinosaurs now. I can't watch Jurassic Park!

9) My parents once phoned school to say my sister and I were poorly then took us to American Adventure for the day (haha). The only thing I remember was crying on the third log flume slope as the first and second were so scary, as well as breaking down in the car on the way home.

10) I had my first asthma attack when I was really young whilst visiting my grandparents. I discovered I was allergic to things like feathers, peanuts and cats all of which I had come into contact with on my trip.

11) My asthma doesn't affect me so much as an adult but I still avoid feather pillows (not peanuts though, yum!) and "bristly" creatures such as guinea pigs which can bring me out in a rash.

12) I don't drink/like fizzy drinks.

13) I am a die-hard tea fan but every now and then I CRAVE a cup of coffee and have to have one immediately.

14) I am very sentimental and keep momentos from places I visit.

15) My favourite books to read are "chick lit" books but I'm also a huge fan of Stephen King novels, especially The Shining.

16) I wish I had been nicer to my parents when I was growing up.

17) When I was little I wanted to be a barmaid, a vet or a pilot. Hmm!

18) I once had a flying lesson where I took the controls and flew the plane. It was awesome!

19) I have never known what to do in life career wise.

20) When I was at sixth form I worked at Boots every weekend and even stayed on when I started working full time as I enjoyed it there so much.

21) When I get married I would like to double-barrell my surname.

22) I like to think I am romantic.

23) If I ever had plastic surgery I would change my nose.

24) I have stupidly long toes.

25) My middle name is Claire.

So there you go! I hope you feel like you know me a little bit better after reading 50 facts about me. I had a lot of fun delving into the depths of my brain to think them up (apart from things like my middle name and telling you about my long toes. It wasn't too hard to remember those things ;))

If you made it this far and read all of my facts leave a comment to let me know a random fact about you. I'll stop by and read your blog too if you have one! I'm on the hunt for new reading material!

25 facts about me.

1) I was born on the 3rd of February 1985 in Leeds, weighing in at a whopping 9lbs 9 1/2 ounces!

2) I am 5'5.

3) I dropped out of university after a couple of weeks.

4) I have one sibling, my sister Adele, who is 2 years older than me and currently lives on the Isle of Man.

5) Pretty much all of my friends call me VJ. However at high school I was known as Vicci (I was very precise about the spelling!) but I grew to hate it. When I started working and people asked what I wanted to be known as I became plain old Victoria. I sometimes get Vix or Vic which I don't mind so much.

6) Jonathan and I met at work. As I worked in HR and sent out the offer packs one day his paperwork landed on my desk for a manager position in a different department. A couple of months after he started we got chatting over a mutual love of cake and cups of tea before he added me on Facebook. We chatted on Facebook for hours and hours, and weeks and weeks, before we decided to go to the cinema as friends. The following day we went out for dinner and decided we'd quite like to be boyfriend/girlfriend.

7) I'm not very good at sticking to hobbies. When I was little I tried ballet, tap, Brownies, guitar lessons, percussion playing, martial arts, the list goes on.

8) I remember really useless snippets of information about celebrities. I can tell you who has dated who, their entire back catalogue of acting jobs and lots of random trivia. I'm also good at remembering faces so I will see someone in a film and instantly recognise them from some obscure work they did about 20 years ago.

9) I have never broken a bone *touches wood*.

10) I wore a train-track style brace on my teeth (top AND bottom) when I was 13 years old for about a year as I had a huge gap in the middle of my two front teeth.

11) I cried when the brace was taken off as I thought my teeth looked far too big without it. I am often told I have big teeth but what the heck, at least they're straight.

12) Talking about teeth, I have zero fillings and live in fear of the day I need my first one!

13) Before I met Jonathan I never wanted to get married or have children. Now I would like to do both (one day, don't panic Jonathan!) but a big traditional white wedding is my idea of hell.

14) I grew up in a pet-mad house and I can't imagine life without pets of some kind. My parents had Rough Collies when I was younger as well as cats, guinea pigs, mice and budgies. I had gerbils. My first two were called Itchy and Scratchy and my second two were Kevin and Perry.

15) I would love a third dog in the shape of a male black Pug or a French Bulldog.

16) I cry all the time. It's rather embarrassing and means I avoid certain programmes or films when in the company of others. Going to the cinema can be rather problematic too! I cry at books, adverts, missing pet posters, and anything happy/heartwarming.

17) My weakness is biscuits. I find it's easier to avoid them as much as possible as I can never have "just one". I sometimes ask Jonathan to hide the biscuit tin from me.

18) I am very clumsy and am therefore covered in scars. I have a huge scar on the inside of my finger from cutting open a bread roll but not stopping in time and slicing through my skin(!)

19) I have a scar between my eyes from a kitchen knife incident. A childhood friend decided to get a knife out of our kitchen drawer and jokingly wave it around, pretending to be some sort of kung-fu fighter. Unfortunately the knife blade was loose, flew out of the handle, bounced off the kitchen door and hit me right between the eyes. He ran away crying while my sister and I stopped the bleeding and put a hat on my head so my parents wouldn't see it. The first thing my mum said when she saw me was "why are you wearing a hat? what's happened?"

20) The feedback from my teachers at school was always that I chatted to my friends too much and did too much clock watching.

21) When I was about 14 I was bullied at school for several months and it was the worst time of my life.

22) I used to hate mushrooms with an absolute passion. Now I eat them all the time and can eat huge Portobello ones as long as I don't look at the frilly bits too closely.

23) I'm an all or nothing kind of person. For example I either read books round the clock or I read zilch. I don't like doing lots of different things for small amounts of time. I'd rather pick one thing and do it lots. Does that make sense?!

24) My parents have been married since 1976! My Mum is from Leeds but my dad is from London and looks/sounds a lot like Del Boy.

25) Even though I am from Leeds I have an accent which people often can't place, which perhaps stems from gaining a mixture of my parents accents.

I hope you made it this far and enjoyed reading my facts! I may do a part two at some point although it's hard to share things that you don't already know. I had to dig deep in my brain for these!

If you liked reading this then you may enjoy reading these: A Rosie Outlook, Stephanie Dreams, glitterkel, ItsEmilyDivine, Little Winter.. I did! :)

11 questions tag.

Hola! I'm back in rainy Rotherham, clutching a cup of tea, wearing 2 jumpers and thinking about where I was this time last week (sat by a pool reading a book all day, followed by walks along the beach and dinner along the beachfront). While I was away I was tagged by Alexandra to do a beauty tag but I spotted this questions tag and I thought it would be more fun so I pinched it. Hope that's alright! :)

The Rules:

- Each person tagged must post 11 random facts about themselves
- They must answer the 11 questions posted by the previous blogger
- They must create 11 more questions to ask the bloggers they tag
- They must tag 11 blogs with less than 200 followers
- The bloggers must be informed that they have been tagged

11 random facts:

- I am addicted to regular tea or, when I'm on holiday, iced tea and this provided much amusement to Jonathan when the first thing I'd do upon entering the apartment was go straight to the fridge. I tried to convert him into an iced tea drinker but he hated it.

Taken in Tenerife last week

- I dislike popular "chart" music (I'm looking at you Rihanna!) and have fairly mixed taste in music, favouring She & Him, Edith Piaf, The Vaccines, The Like, Christina Perri, The Pierces, The Beach Boys, The Courteeners, The Drifters, and Sam Cooke.

- I have a brilliant memory for lyrics and know quite a lot of lyrics to quite a lot of songs. Sadly my good memory doesn't extend to much else.

- My favourite dog breed is a French Bulldog, but don't tell L&L!

- My dream job would be working from home, as an author of "chick-lit" books.

- In the past few years I have lost around 2 1/2 stone through a lifestyle change and exercise, and have kept the weight off ever since.

- Biscuits are my weakness and I try to avoid them, as I can't just have one. I immediately try to consume the whole packet before Jonathan tries to hide the tin!

- I love cross stitching, which I started last October when my friend, Katy, bought me a mini kit from Hobbycraft. I've been addicted ever since and find it very relaxing.

Recent cross stitch projects

- I love Christmas: the food, the present buying, the colder weather, dressing L&L up like reindeers. Roll on December!

- I am a massive fan of writing lists and plans of action, and love nothing better than planning a holiday where I'm totally in my element!

- I have visited Orlando, Florida, 5 times and hope to go for a 6th time with Jonathan and some friends in the next year or two. I know there are plenty of other places to visit, and I plan to go to as many of them as I can, and I do love visiting new places but I just love Disney, Universal, the food, the people, and feeling like a kid for 2 weeks.

My last visit - 2009. Can you believe this is me!?

Questions from Alexandra:

1. What would you eat if you were only allowed one thing for the rest of your life? It would have to be something carb-tastic like pizza (4 cheese) or warm bread with loads of butter.

2. What magical power would you choose to have and why? The ability to stop time. I often think that a Bernard's Watch would be so handy (hands up who used to watch that?) to get more sleep and fit more things into each day.

3. If you could make your favorite movie your real life, which one would you pick and why? Oh gosh, I wouldn't want my favourite movie (The Notebook) to become real life as that would be terribly sad, so I'll go with Magic Mike for obvious reasons ;)

4. 2 things on your bucket list that haven't yet been checked off. Visiting New York and taking singing lessons.

5. Why did you start your blog? I had a boring job at the time and after stumbling upon the blogging world I decided I'd quite like to give it a go.

6. Favorite piece of jewelry and why? I don't wear much jewellery at all but I have a Dior watch which was bought for me for my 18th birthday from my Mum and Dad, so that is very special to me.

7. If you had a day of no consequences, what would you do? Take a day off work, eat everything in sight, sing loudly everywhere I went, sneak onto a flight and go somewhere hot and sunny, and generally over indulge.

8. Best birthday and why? Probably any birthday between my 18th and 21st when I was young and carefree, and didn't have to worry about heading towards 30! Generally though, I'm not one to make a huge fuss when it's my birthday.

9. The book you could read over and over. The Shining by Stephen King. I have read quite a few of his books (and they're all fantastic) but I could never tire of reading The Shining.

10. (Fill in the blank) I'm currently obsessed with _________________? Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He is utterly wonderful.

11. The thing you're most looking forward to in this coming month of October? Snuggling up with Jonathan and the Pugs as the weather gets colder, cooking nice food together and preparing for Christmas.

The questions I set for Jo, Lisa, Kim, Stephie, sunnysweetpea, Sophie, and a few other blogs which have more than 200 subs but are amongst my favourites, Rosie, Diane, Rebecca, Nicki and Lisa are:
1. If you had a magic wand and could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
2. If you could transport yourself into any tv show, past or present, which one would you choose?
3. Do you make New Years Resolutions and keep them?
4. What do you do to relax?
5. Pool or beach?
6. Earliest childhood memory?
7. Favourite Christmas movie?
8. If you could only listen to one song for the rest of time, what would it be and why?
9. Favourite pizza topping?
10. Do you have a pet/pets?
11. What is your most treasured possession?

15 random questions.

I spotted this on Erin's blog and thought I'd carry the tag on - please feel free to do it too. I like posts like this - it's a bit of fun and you get to learn more about your fellow bloggers. So here goes..

1) What is your dream job?
I never used to be able to answer this question. I would give a million answers - airline pilot, zoo keeper, writer. I've just never known what I REALLY want to do. I'd love to work from home writing books, or working with animals, but I'm quite content with a job in HR for now.

2) What is your favourite fragrance for Winter?
At the moment I'm wearing Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb most days. It's strong and lasts really well which I like, and it feels appropriate for Winter to me.

3) How do you take your tea/coffee?
I drink tea by the bucket full and I like it very milky with no sugar. I have 1 or 2 coffees a week and I have it very milky with a sprinkle of sugar.

4) What is your most important beauty secret?
My beauty tips are very simple - nothing fancy for this girl. For me personally I make sure I take every scrap of makeup off every night before bed. If I wash my face half heartedly and hop into bed I always get a little visitors on my chin the next day.

5) If you had an all expenses paid vacation, where would you go?
Orlando, Florida. It's my favourite holiday destination. I'd visit every single theme park and pay a visit to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure as it looks pretty awesome. I'm a big kid at heart really.

6) If a genie popped up in your lap right now and offered you three wishes, what would you ask for?
I would ask for good health for my loved ones, millions of pounds to appear in my bank account and for my hair to grow down to my bum!

7) If you could only have breakfast, lunch, dinner or desert foods for the rest of your life, what would you pick?
Toughie. I'll go for lunch because that would include a sunday roast lunch and I'd happily eat that every day.

8) If you were Hello Kitty what colour hair bow would you wear?
Purple. I want to say pink but that's too predictable!

9) What is your biggest makeup pet peeve?
There's not much that bothers me as I'm no makeup expert, but I don't like it when eyes are completely lined all the way round with black eyeliner. It makes them look so small and silly.

10) If you could wear only one piece of jewellery for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I have so many lovely pieces of jewellery but I particularly love my Juicy Couture watch that I lusted after for 6 months before receiving it for Christmas as a complete surprise one year. It's hard to get a good picture of the real thing so I have found a stock photo to show you. It's so pretty!

11) What one talent do you wish you had?
I'd like to be able to play the piano reeeally well. That would be amazing.

12) Which product will you continue to purchase?
I will always buy foundation. I can take or leave other makeup products but I will always wear foundation every single day. I'm not very confident about my skin and this instantly makes me feel human. I particularly like Estee Lauder Double Wear although it's a real pain taking off at the end of the day. But for coverage and lasting power you just can't beat it.

13) If you could look into the future, would you? And what would you like to know?
Had you asked me this last year I would have said "yes please!" But I'm so happy with the boy and with work and yes I've got a few little problems here and there, but right now I'm happy to go with the flow and let the future unfold however it sees fit!

14) Who is your biggest celebrity crush? Include a picture!
This is very difficult as I don't have one massive boy crush - I just have a few boy shapes who I think are cute. If I HAD to pick then I'd go for Joseph Gordon Levitt as he's so pint sized and was lovely in 500 Days of Summer.

15) What made you start a blog?
I stumbled across a few beauty and fashion blogs and became firm fans of those, and slowly I uncovered the whole community. One day I decided that I'd give it a go myself and the rest is history!

10 things that make me happy

I have been tagged by the beautiful Onyx to do the '10 things that make me happy' tag. I like these tags; they're fun to do and you can learn about your fellow bloggers a little bit too. If you fancy doing the tag go for it! Be sure to let me know the link if you do.

(All photos have been lovingly borrowed from www.weheartit.com)

1. Pugs
My Pugs, other people's Pugs, I love them! They're so cute. If I had £1 for every person who told me they're "yappy", "ugly" or "horrible little things" I would be a millionaire. I won't deny, they're a bit yappy but they're adorable! Loving, loyal, intelligent, Lily and Lola are my best friends!

2. My family.
Self explanatory!

3. Tea.
I go through cups upon cups of milky tea day in day out. If I don't have it, my head hurts. I can't start the day without it! I'm officially addicted to tea. I'm also partial to a bit of camomile tea. Perfect for wind-down time before bed.

4. My blog.
I have been blogging a year now and I can't imagine life before Lily loves Lola was invented! I can't go anywhere without my camera now, I have received some wonderful products that I wouldn't normally have been able to have, and I have made loads of great friends. Blogging is the perfect hobby - I get to write about anything I like and I get to make friends with you lovely folk along the way.

5. Planning holidays.
This is my favourite thing to do. I love travelling and going on holiday, but I LOVE the planning element of it. Flicking through brochures, pricing up flights, planning day trips, saving up. Such fun!

6. Going to the cinema and watching movies.
I love losing myself in a really good film. My ultimate girly movie that I watch when I'm alone is The Notebook. It makes me long for my own love story just like the movies.

"If you're a bird, I'm a bird" :)

7. Shopping.
I don't need to explain this one to you ladies do I :)

8. Singing/music.
Life without music is a very dull one indeed. I also love to sing, particularly in the car but I'm also partial to singing into a hairbrush.

9. Being silly.
Life is too short to be serious and let things get you down. If something is making you unhappy, don't do it anymore. That's my new motto and it's so simple!

10. Pampering.
I love nothing more than having some time on my own, painting my nails, sticking a face mask on and chilling out. If I'm feeling down or I've had a busy day a bubble bath is the perfect solution!

12 questions tag

I am borrowing this tag from one of the super cute blogs that I follow - cupcakes and rainbowdust. It's a 12 questions tag - feel free to do your own :)

What shoe size are you?
UK size 7. In flats I can sometimes look like a golf club. Also in some shops I'm in between a 6 and a 7 which is very annoying!

Where do you work?
I work on the outskirts of Leeds in the Human Resources department of a financial company. It is very varied, busy and interesting.

Favourite piece of clothing you own?
My selection of Ugg boots. Not technically clothing, but I could not live without Uggs. I wear them constantly!

Your favourite blog?
I have so many. My current favourites are skinnyrunner, rockstardiaries, A Little Bird Told Me, Lions, Tigers & Fashion OH MY, Pearls & Poodles, and many more.

Do you have any pets?
Yes - you all know this by now! :) I have 2 Pugs, Lily and Lola, and a Bichon Frise called Geri. Geri was my boyfriend's dog before we met and together we got the Puggies.

How many siblings do you have?
1 sister - Adele. She is 2 years older than me.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Somewhere warm, sunny, near the beach, with a friendly community and plenty of shops nearby! But ultimately I would want to live near my family so they would have to come too!

What were you doing before this?
Wandering round Ikea. We bought a huge rug and some colourful drinking glasses in case you wondered :)

Your favourite food?
Pizza - ham and pineapple is my favourite and I could probably eat it every day if I had to.

Do you have a middle name?
Yes, Claire :)

Your favourite websites?
Apart from blogs I like browsing on Ebay, River Island, weheartit, The Skinny Website and many more. I'm a total Internet wh*re!

Who do you tag?
Anyone!

Hi, my name is Victoria

Pinched from Daisy.. who pinched from Kim.

Never in my life have I been: to Australia. Or to Ireland. Or on drugs!

The one person who can drive me nuts is: my boyfriend. At times I think he has sent me insane! :)

High school: was great, then I got bullied and I hated it, then I kinda liked it again. I was voted the 2nd best looking girl in my year - what an achievement! ;)

When I'm nervous: I either eat nothing or eat everything in sight.

The last song I listened to was: Priscilla Ahn - Find My Way Back Home.

If I were to get married right now my maid of honour would be: my sister.

My hair is: recently back to its natural colour, recently trimmed, has recently acquired a fringe, and doesn't feel too bad for a change!

When I was 5: I loved going to school and was probably more intelligent than I am now. (Joke. I hope.)

Last Christmas: was lovely. I always enjoy Christmas. I'm hoping this year will be better as last time I was temping and the fact I didn't have a temp job straight after Christmas was hanging over me.

I should be: a stone lighter and a little bit happier, but oh well :)

The happiest recent event was: being successful in applying for a house. Not just any house - the best one we had looked at by a mile!

By this time next year: I have no idea what I will be doing but I like that.

There's this girl I know that: is lovely, kind, generous, and my best friend - but never takes my advice :)

I like you when: you leave happy comments on my blog and don't judge me or say nasty things just because you can be 'anon'.

The world could do without: animal cruelty and peadophiles.

Most recent thing I've bought myself: food from M&S including houmous and sushi, and some clothes/shoes from Primark.

Most recent thing someone else bought me: a Creme Egg.

My middle name is: Claire

The animals I would like to see flying besides birds are: all animals - then they would never get run over or hurt because they could fly away and poop on our heads.

Once, at a bar: chances are I was probably wasted.

Last night I was: watching Supersize vs Superskinny and eating a cream bun.

There's this guy I know who: has the ability to drive me crazy and make me laugh till my sides hurt at the same time.

Tomorrow I am: going to work then relaxing at home knowing I have 4 days off for the Bank Holiday weekend!

Tonight I am: staying in with my boyfriend, blogging a little and listening to the newly acquired She & Him: Volume Two.

My birthday is: 3rd February.

Beautiful Blogger award

I am so lucky that I get nominated for awards quite regularly - thank you! - and I thought it was time I passed one on. Sarah xo nominated me for the Beautiful Blogger award and I have to state 7 facts about me and then nominate 7 bloggers.

1) I'm a HUGE animal lover and I don't kill insects EVER! My friend once squashed an ant in front of me and I cried! (I had been drinking).

2) I really like vegetables. I remember when I was younger and I visited family in London I ate plates and plates of broccoli and cabbage, and now I'm partial to a bit of cauliflower cheese. Yum!

3) I don't have any tattoos but I'm very intrigued and interested in them. I even went inside the Miami Ink shop last year! I met Darren Brass which was pretty cool.

4) I have extremely long toes!

5) I am rarely seen out of my Ugg boots and I have 4 pairs in total.

6) I don't watch much TV; I don't watch any soaps at all. I always watch Lost and occasionally shows like Scrubs, Bones and King of Queens but I prefer putting a DVD on or listening to music!

7) I can take or leave chocolate but crisps are my downfall! I can easily demolish a whole tube of Pringles. Once you pop you can't stop = so true!

There are hundreds of beautiful people that I follow but I had to pick 7 and those 7 are:

Happy 101 tag

I spotted this tag on Sinead's blog - Dainty Dollymix - and thought it was a nice idea so I'm carrying on the tag! And I tag any of you lovelies who would like to do this.

The idea is to list 10 things that make you happy and explain why. Hope you like my list! (in no particular order)

♥ My family. They drive me crazy sometimes but they're not a bad lot really :) I have one sister who is currently living abroad, and my parents live about 20 minutes away from me so I often pop round for my tea.

♥ Shopping. I love saving up and buying nice things for myself and I love buying presents for other people too. What's the point of working if you can't treat yourself from time to time!

♥ My best friend. I don't have many close friends and she is a really honest, generous and funny friend who is there for me when I'm feeling down.

♥ My dogs. They can be so naughty and have me pulling my hair out at times but I wouldn't swap them for anything. They are sooo cute and I love it when they cuddle up together and go to sleep. I also love how they find the one patch of sunlight coming in through the window and fall asleep there.

♥ My blog. I love blogging and I can't imagine life without it. I'm always thinking 'ooh I can blog about that' and I take my camera everywhere with me to snap everything and anything! I enjoy writing my thoughts down and sharing them with you all. Every now and then people try to spoil it for me and bring me down but you can't spoil blogging for me, sorry! ;)

♥ Food. I know I'm on a mission to get fitter and lose a few pounds but I love food. I really enjoy eating out and trying new things and eating until I can't move! :)

♥ Being out in the fresh air. Come rain or shine I love going out walking and taking the dogs along for a good run and play. Winter walks are the best. I love wrapping up warm and heading out into the cold!

♥ Music. Whether I'm happy, sad, stressed, excited, or cleaning the house, I love to listen to music and I love how a song or an album can bring back so many memories.

♥ Movies. I love going to the cinema and I have soo many DVDs! I think I enjoy getting lost in a fictional word...

♥ Going on holiday. I love planning holidays and the countdown to them! I once booked a holiday 13 months in advance and spent the whole time talking about it and planning it all. Orlando is my favourite place to visit and I hope to go back for the 6th time in 2011. I love feeling hot sun on my skin and not having a care in the world for a week or 2...

Sugar doll

I saw this award over at Caitlin Bananas and Under Lock and Key and thought it was such a cool idea, so I've pinched the award even though I've not been nominated. Oops!
.
These girlies tweaked the rules from '10 facts about me' to '10 things I want to do in my lifetime' and I'm going to do the same. .
So here we go, here are the 10 things I would like to do in my lifetime in no particular order:
.
1) Adopt another Pug, perhaps a little black one. A boyfriend for Lily or Lola perhaps? He could be called Frank and I would love him to bits.
.
2) Take singing lessons. I have been told I have a good voice and I'd like to get better and learn to sing properly and have the right breathing techniques, etc. There's nothing stopping me doing this right now, apart from lack of confidence!
.
3) Run a marathon, or a half marathon at least. At the moment I can't run for more than a minute at a time. And after any type of running I feel physically sick! Maybe in a couple of years this is something I could work towards.
.
4) Find a career that I love and that makes me want to get up in the morning. Easier said that done! I have been trying to figure this out for the past 6 years. Sometimes I feel like quitting my job and being a full time dog walker. All those cute pooches and fresh air! Not so great in the Winter but beats sitting at a desk all day :)
.
5) Get a tattoo. I think tattoos look great until people get old so I have never taken the plunge, but I'd love to get one. I visited the Miami Ink shop once and I love to watch the show. My favourite tattoo is from an LA Ink episode when a woman got a sleeve done with a fairytale theme. It was really girly, with a Disney theme and had "happily ever after" in a gorgeous script. I can't find a picture anywhere. It sounds horrendous but it was lovely!
.
6) Go on a volunteering holiday. When I was a single lady and had no-one to go on holiday with I used to look at these kind of holidays; volunteering with elephants or monkeys or various other animals. It would be so rewarding and amazing to help out. Maybe one day... :)
.
7) Learn how to knit and sew again. When I was little I was a Brownie and I could knit like there was no tomorrow! I also did an A-level in Textiles and used to make jeans and all sorts. Now I have lost my touch and can't seem to pick up the know-how. I would love to buy an old granny dress and be able to turn it into a trendy outfit. I really envy creative people.
.
8) Learn to be happy with what I've got, instead of constantly striving for something else.
.
9) Get married at Disneyworld Orlando. I would like Mickey and Minnie at my Reception and it would be magical and fun :) And a little bit tacky.
.
10) And while we're on a Disney theme, I'd like to move to Orlando when I retire, live at Disney Celebrations and get a little part time job at Magic Kingdom.
.
I tag YOU!

This and that..

I was tagged by Makeup and Madness to do this tag, so here I go!

Galaxy or Dairy Milk??

Dairy Milk, preferably the Turkish Delight one :)

Coke or Pepsi??

Either, as long as it is diet

Tesco or Asda??

I honestly have no preference! I will shop anywhere that happens to be the most convenient, Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, even Aldi! :O

Mascara or Lipgloss??

Mascara

Cat or Dog??

Dog of course! Although I love cats too and my parents have 3 cute cats. Take a look at Tufty. He is the man!!

He obviously can't read the sign :)

Twilight or True Blood??

Twilight. Never seen True Blood. EEK!

Summer or Winter??

Winter. I love winter clothes as opposed to summery ones, and I love Christmas!

Edward or Jacob??

Team Edward! haha

TV or Films??

Films. I much prefer going to the cinema and I don't watch much tv.

Texts or Phone Calls??

Texts. If I can avoid a phone conversation I will.

Twitter or Facebook??

Twitter. I used to love Facebook but lately I have thought about deleting it. 90% of the people on my friends list are people I don't want to speak to/they don't want to speak to me! Seems a bit silly.

Beach or City??

Beach. For definite! My idea of a fab holiday is sitting on a beach for 2 weeks, reading, sunbathing and paddling in the sea. No sightseeing for me! lol.

I tag anyone!

I think you are an awesome girl...

I was tagged by Claire Eloise for this award, thank you! If you haven't seen her blog already you can check it out here.

I have to give you all 10 facts about me and nominate 10 lovely blogs!

1. I have no tattoos but I LOVE Kat Von D and often wish I could cover myself in tattoos and look as fabulous as her. But I would worry that one day I'd wake up and not want them anymore..

2. I can't stand the look or feel of mushrooms.

3. I still have a nightie that I got when I was 11. It's from Tammy Girl and I can't bear to throw it away. I wear it occasionally and am amazed it still fits me!

4. I'm addicted to tea and drink it constantly. I'm drinking a cup right now :)

5. When I was little I played guitar, played percussion, was in the school choir, did ballet, tap, and went to Brownies. My life seems so boring now in comparison!

6. I am trying to learn how to knit again. I would like to knit dog jumpers :)

7. I would like 2 children; a boy and a girl, and I have some names picked out which are all quite unusual.

8. I don't have much luck with mobile phones. I am always dropping them on the floor and down the toilet and such..

9. I have not seen my natural hair colour in a long long time.

10. I get bored easily. See fact number 5. I tend to start a lot of things and give up at the first hurdle.

I am going to tag 10 great blogs that I haven't tagged before:
