Has the raining stopped yet? I don't notice anymore.
I've noticed a little flurry of new subscribers recently so I just wanted to say a quick "hello"! I hope you are enjoying my little blog so far and I hope not to disappoint!
I love Saturdays and I don't think today is going to disappoint. Plans - start writing a few blog posts, drink copious amounts of tea, buy ingredients for a lemon meringue pie, take Lily and Lola for a long stroll, go for a jog, and chill out with Jonathan. I am currently catching up on Rainbows & Fairydust, loveMaegan, Athene Noctua, and rockstardiaries whilst Jonathan plays Goldeneye on the Wii. He sure does love that game!

SENIOR PASS
Today I purchased the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands (Senior) Pass for $10. The lifetime Senior Pass provides a discount on fees such as camping, swimming, boat launching, and guided tours. That's one more thing crossed off my list of thing to do before I leave. The National Park Service is located at New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park Office in the French Quarter. Had a great day of shopping in the French Market and the weather was great.

Today was a good day.
Today I bought some size 10 work trousers.. and last week I fit perfectly into a size 8 shirt. After being a size 12 for donkeys years this is good news. I feel great!
I lost, but subsequently found, my purse.
I'm back into the swing of jogging again.
It's almost the weekend.
And I'm in love with the most incredible person ever!

NEW TECH GADGET
Today I bought a Verizon router for my computer in order to be able to access the Internet from anywhere in the country and abroad. Isn't technology wonderful? The cost will be $35 a month.
