DOGGIE STROLLER

Received the doggie stroller I order a few days ago.  This will come in handy when we go to Dixie RV to have our coach fixed next week.  I'll be able to keep the dog in the stroller while we wait for the repair to be completed which could take all day.  However, I really purchased this item in order to take Xi Shi to New Orleans with me when I go shopping in the French Market.

Her little sister cat wanted to go for a ride, too.

It even comes with its own rain coat.

She doesn't like me to zip it up but the screen is really a nice feature.

She really enjoyed her first ride down our street.

Now I won't have to worry about leaving her at home all alone and can spend more time in the city.  I would never allow her to walk the streets, for several reasons (dirt and crowds, etc.).  So now she can ride in style while I shop.  There are places to eat with tables set up outdoors so she will be able to be with me at these sites as well.  I'm waiting for the first cool spell before heading to the city.  The temps here are comfortable but I prefer to walk the streets in colder weather.

If it gets cooler in the next week or two, I will plan on spending a few days in the city at a campground I found just a few blocks from the French Quarter.  The French Quarter RV Resort is conveniently located in the heart of downtown New Orleans with easy access by bicycle, by car, or on even on foot.  They even shuttle you in golf carts to the Market place then pick you up late afternoon.  It's pretty pricey but it will be a splurge well deserved.

We have 26 days left before we depart for the Texas Gulf Coast.  After the repair job on the coach I have a doctor's appointment and then we're free to go.

Yesterday I registered for the Escapees Boot Camp in Livingston, Texas in November then made my reservations at Cherry Hill Campground in Maryland for March.  Things are beginning to move right along.
