A little present to myself..

I wanted these a while ago when I saw them in Harvey Nichols but I didn't have £190 lying around at the time :) Well.. when I walked past them in House of Fraser this week in the sale I couldn't resist. At £133 they were MINE!

I always like to spend a little bit more money on sunglasses and I already have a Dior pair that have lasted the distance over the past few years. Dior are my favourite, and the bigger they are the better!

I love them! :) All I need now is some blimmin sunshine so that I can wear them!

Keep your eyes peeled over the next week as I have bought a few new things this week and I'm going to post about them and I will also let you all know how my first day on Monday goes! Thanks for all your great comments on my last post. They made me feel much more confident about it!

Thanks guys.

P.S. Phew, not far off 300 followers! If I reach it I will do a little jig and perhaps hold a contest! :D

Weight loss and job gain!

With the help of the lovely and ever so buff Deanne Berry I am going to lose 3/4 of a stone!

Before I went on holiday in May I was eating really well, working out using the Pump It Up dvd, Wii Fit, jogging and playing squash twice a week. Then in Florida I tucked into American sized portions for 2 weeks and the only exercise I did was turning over on my sunbed or wandering round theme parks!

I decided, if I declare this to the blogging world then I HAVE to get motivated to work out because I have told you all that I'm going to! :D

I am not going to diet or cut anything out of my diet. I have tried every quick fix under the sun; Special K diet, Slim Fast, even the Beyonce maple syrup drink thing! They work temporarily but once I go back to the real world I end up back at square one.

From now on I am going to reduce the amount of sweets/crisps I consume, drink more water and do my Pump It Up dvd 3 times a week, play squash once a week and do Wii Fit or (newly purchased) Wii Active inbetween if I get time. Plus I walk my dogs twice a day and walk to places instead of driving if I can!

I love this dvd. It is the best workout dvd I have tried. It consists of a warm-up, aerobics, dance routines, boxercise, toning, then a cool down. If the thought of doing "crazy legs" to Can't Touch This is your cup of tea then I really recommend it! Sometimes I try to complete the whole thing (torture) but usually I do the warm-up, aerobics, toning then the cool down. The aerobics section is so much fun but very energetic! I think the dvd is about £5.99 on Play.com so it is a good bargain.

I will report back occasionally and let you know how (badly) I'm doing.

* * *

Also, after just 6 days of jobhunting and joining agencies I was offered a job! It was my one and only interview, and I was the last person they saw. Apparently they had already decided who they wanted but then they interviewed me and decided I would be a good addition to the company! They are 'Investors in People' and have said that if I see any courses I want to study they are more than happy for me to do them and I think they even pay for them! Result! They want me to start on Monday. Eek!

I am very very nervous. I hate being the new girl. I always come across as being very quiet and nervous. Fingers crossed everything goes ok. First days are just awful aren't they!

Lots of love,

Garnier Pure Active range

I was kindly offered some products from the new Garnier range and of course I said yes! I had wanted to try out this range because a) it helps spotty people like me and b) I have heard lots of good things about it.

I was so excited to try these products out because at the time I had some spots, blemishes and just pants skin in general!

L-R: Deep pore unclogging wash, Blackhead clearing scrub, Spot-on roll-on, Spot fighting 24hr moisturiser

I had planned on trying one product at a time to avoid overloading my skin. I was worried the range would be too harsh as my skin can sometimes be sensitive. However, I took the risk and used everything at once and it was fine! No irritation, no allergic reaction, no nothing! Yay.

The range promises to give results after 1 day. I perhaps was too much of an eager beaver and expected my skin to improve after the 1st use. It didn't.

After 1 week I saw a slight improvement and after nearly 2 weeks I have almost clear skin! In fact..I was at the Dior counter on Monday and the counter lady said I had "lovely clear skin!" I actually thought she was joking! My boyfriend whispered "see I told you so!" :)

I have been using the face wash every morning and evening along with my regular toner or sometimes a face wipe, just to make sure all of my make-up has been removed. I have used the scrub 2 - 3 times a week, and the moisturiser and spot roll-on daily.

* I love the face wash. It makes my skin feel really clean and doesn't dry it out. I would definitely re-purchase this as a daily face wash.

* I love the scrub and will continue to use it 2 - 3 times a week to exfoliate. The 'scrubby bits' (what are they called?!) are effective without being too scratchy.

* I have to say I don't like the spot roll-on. I dabbed this on religiously every evening onto every single spot and it did nothing. Some even appeared worse the next day! I have now stopped using this in my routine.

* I like the moisturiser. It leaves my skin feeling very smooth and I hope that using it along with the face wash and scrub has contributed to the improvement in my skin. I will continue to use it daily and I would repurchase it if my skin continues to remain clear.

I am generally impressed with the range, apart from the spot roll-on. After almost 2 weeks I am relatively spot free and I feel a lot more confident about my skin. As I mentioned, my skin can be quite sensitive and usually when I use anything like Clean & Clear or Clearasil my skin hates it! But I have had no problems whatsoever with Garnier Pure Active.

If anyone wants any more info on any of the products please let me know.

Butterflies, meerkats, HUGE tarantulas and an anniversary

Yesterday me and my boyfriend were celebrating a year since our very first date. We agreed not to do the whole present thing so I wasn't expecting anything except a card but he got me Vera Wang - Rock Princess perfume which I really wanted so I'm dead pleased :) It came with a free gift of some temporary tattoos - haha. I am definitely going to give them a whirl!

He took me to a lovely park where we ate ice-cream and I pestered him to tell me where we were going but he was not giving anything away!

He took me to Tropical World which is in Leeds and I have never been and always wanted to so it was extra brownie points for him!

There is a little bit of everything at Tropical World; butterflies, meerkats, fish, birds, bats, creepy crawlies.. It was so much fun!

The meerkats were adorable. One of them was sat chilling just like Lily & Lola do.

Then we headed out for something to eat. We went to the restaurant that we went to as part of our first date, where it all began! :)

What a lovely day it was, finished off by a few glasses of wine and some chocolate at home with the dogs.

I was very impressed with my surprises.. normally I guess everything or he tells me beforehand so it was a really nice day. Hopefully it is the first anniversary of many more!

Miners cosmetics

I was recently sent some products from Miners Cosmetics to try out and I have been busy giving everything a go.

L - R: Nail Polish in 'paint the town red' (£2.99), Beauty Brilliance Highlighter Stick in 'dream' (£3.99), Nail Polish in 'graphite' (£2.99), Liquid Line in 'blue' (£2.93), Lash Curl Mascara in 'waterproof brown' (£3.99), Crystal Crush Lipgloss in 'tropical' (£3.91), Dream Eyes Eyeliner in 'black' (£2.44), Complete Base matte foundation in 'dark' (£4.99).

I am going to talk about the nail polishes first, as I was instantly impressed with them particularly the red colour 'paint the town red'. The consistency is quite runny so I only needed a tiny amount on the brush but the colour is so rich and I only needed 1 coat! I loved both the colours. I'm not usually a fan of dark polishes but I am now converted! I have been wearing the red colour on my toes for a week or so and there are no chips and it still looks super bright! And as mentioned, I only needed one coat!

Not my toes obviously! :)

At £2.99 they are a really good price and there are about 10 on my wish-list including 'Jezebel' which is a hot pink, and 'Spellbound' which is a gorgeous purple colour. I don't have any purple nail polishes and I have been wanting one for a while so I think I will have to make some purchases!

Check out the website here. It's a really pretty, girly website and there is loads to look at.

I am going to try out the eye products this week and do another post and maybe do some FOTD's to show you what they look like on me.

I hope everyone is having a super weekend! It is a year today since me and my boyfriend had our 1st date so we are celebrating today and he is taking me out later. I have been told to "wear something warm, but nice". Right ok, thanks! That doesn't help at all :)

Lots of love,

Guess what I got today...

Yep, I am joining the Twilight club! I loved the film and thought all the hype about the book series must be worth a look!

I still need to finish Marley & Me but I'm struggling. I'm crying at nearly every chapter and I know what's coming so I keep putting off the inevitable.

I've got the Shopaholic series to get through too!

So many books, so little time :)

What are you all reading at the moment?

Hair update

As some of you know I'm growing my hair and plan to grow it as long as possible. When I was about 19 I had lovely long locks which I decided to get chopped off one day. Since then my hair has wavered between a short graduated bob and being shoulder length. It really suits me short but I don't have the time or energy to style it every morning and since having permanent extensions I have wanted really long hair without the hassle and expense of paying for replacement extensions every 4 months!

I had a long overdue trim this morning as it hasn't been cut since January (apart from fringe trims). It looks and feels so much better, I'm really pleased with it.

I am going to continue using the Lee Stafford Overnight Treatment as it makes my hair dead shiny and smooth the next morning, and I hardly need to use straighteners now which is great. I really recommend this if you have fine to medium hair like me.

I'm also going to use a deep conditioning treatment once a week, either VO5 hot oil or the Anatomicals hair mask (which I will post a review about soon).

If anyone can recommend a deep conditioning treatment that is worth a try then please let me know!

Hopefully it will be as long as this is no time!! :)

All About Beauty tag

I saw this recently on DollyMix184 writes beauty and thought I would carry on the tag :)

What's your favourite makeup look?

I like winged liquid liner and nude lips. I'm in love with Nicole Richie's makeup here.. if only I looked as beautiful as this!

What part of your body do you love?

Tough question! There's not much that I love, I will have to say erm.. my wrists coz they are quite skinny! lol.

Who is your beauty icon?

I don't have one in particular but I love Nicole Richie as mentioned above. Her makeup is always perfect and I like that she never looks too overdone. I love Marilyn Monroe, she always looked beautiful and rocked her curves.

What beauty products instantly make you feel sexy?

Fake tan. I feel so much better (and slimmer) with a slight tan. Although nothing beats having a real tan. Fake tan never quite has the same effect!

Also I love a good body moisturiser and not having horrible snake skin legs!

How do you look after your skin?

I try to drink plenty of water as it makes a whole lot of difference to my skin, but I usually drink more tea than anything else!

I try to remove every scrap of makeup before bed and I usually stick to gentle skincare products.

What is your signature scent?

Vera Wang - Princess.

What are your hair secrets?

Clynol shampoo and conditioner. It works miracles and helps to keep my colour nicer for longer. Conditioning treatments are a god send for me because my coloured hair often gets dry.

How do you pamper yourself?

When I've got some spare pennies I like to get pedicures. They are the ultimate treat for me. I also like facials although I haven't had one in aaages. I used to get one every month and they really made the difference to my skin. I get my eyebrows waxed and the occasional leg wax here and there. One thing I'm going to start getting regularly is a back massage because I have some serious tension in my back and shoulders! :(

What is your pet peeve?

I'm not a big fan of really thick liquid liner a la Amy Winehouse. I think it looks a bit silly. But generally I wouldn't look down on someone for wearing their hair or makeup a certain way. I say do whatever you wanna do!

What would be your desert island must haves?

Deodorant, tweezers and suncream!

Finally, do you have a beauty philosophy?

I say do what you want to do! Be yourself. And if people don't like it.. tough! ;)

I tag:

You!!

Anatomicals goodies

I was sent an array of lovely goodies from Anatomicals (thank you!) and have had lots of fun testing them out.

Back row L - R:
- Help The Paw hand cream
- Cheese Release Me foot cream
- Not Another Rough Day Please body moisturiser.

Middle row L - R:
- What A Complete & Utter Glosser lip gloss tube (super randy cherry brandy flavour)
- Snog Me Senseless minty tingling lip balm
- No Old Bags Allowed eye gel

Front row L - R:
- 2 x That's When I Fell For The Leader Of The Hair Pack
- 2 x Farewell The Scarlet Pimplehell face mask
- Snog Me Senseless mints

I have been busy trying out some of the products and here are my findings!

I love the hand cream! It is a definite rival for my favourite (Soap & Glory's Hand Food). The smell is divine! And most importantly it sinks in quickly and doesn't leave any greasiness. This hand cream is £3.00 which is a good price for a 100ml tube.

The body moisturiser is very moisturising and has a lovely strong scent which lingers on the skin which I like. It is totally non greasy and sinks into the skin a treat. At £3.00 for a 200ml tube it is very good value.

The lip gloss tube is fab! It reminds me of Lancome Juicy Tubes except this one is totally not sticky at all and of course, is a fraction of the price!

I adore the minty lip balm! Definitely one of my favourites. It leaves my lips soft, tingly and minty fresh!

Here I am in full testing action! This is the face mask 'Farewell The Scarlet Pimplehell'. I loved the texture of this mask. No icky bits and pieces! Just a smooth, thick mask and there was plenty of it in the sachet. There was enough left over to do another face! I must admit I wasn't overly pleased with the smell at first.. it seemed a bit fishy. Alas the smell soon died down and the mask left my skin feeling smooth, but I don't think anything could reduce my pimples! They are made of stern stuff.

I think all of these products are a great gift idea! Not only are the prices very reasonable but they are really different to the usual bog standard products and the names are so damn funny! I would personally love to receive smellies like this for my birthday or Christmas.

Thumbs up all round.

Check out the store here. If you would like more info on anything I haven't mentioned please leave me a comment and I will reply.

Favourite reads

I saw this tag on Ellie's blog Ohmakemeup and thought it was a nice idea and so I have compiled a list of my own top 6 reads to share with you. I tag anyone who would like to do it!

First up, the Harry Potter series of course! A very predictable choice from me but they really are my favourites. The first book I read was the 4th in the series which was a bit silly. I had actually never heard of them until my Mum bought the 4th book from her book club. I read it on holiday, loved it then started the series from the beginning. I have re-read the whole lot quite a few times since.

Next is The Shining by Stephen King. I love anything by Stephen King but this book especially stands out for me as a favourite. His books scare the living daylights out of me but I still love them. The film adaptation with Jack Nicholson is one of my fave films and I recommend the book and film to everyone!

Next up is another Stephen King book The Long Walk which is one of 4 stories in The Bachman Books when he wrote under the name Richard Bachman. Reading this story exhausted me and the end confused me but I loved it and it stands out as a really good read. All 4 stories are great so the book is a great buy!

A girlier book choice would be Twenty Times A Lady by Karyn Bosnak. This is chick-lit at its best. The main character Delilah, hits her limit of men she has allowed herself to sleep with and decides to track each one down to give them another chance and see if one of them is "The One". It's really funny and a bit different to the usual chick-lit.. I recommend this one!

Intensity by Dean Koontz is just brilliant. It is set in a 24 hour period and it's full of twists and turns, gruesome bits, scary bits, suspense, and a psychopathic killer!

And last up is The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom. I loved this book so much. It's about Eddie who dies and journeys through heaven and meets..you guessed it, 5 people! They are all people who have affected his life in one way or another, some of them without him realising. Great book! I really recommend it.

I look forward to reading other people's lists!

P.S. Kirsti over at In-love_with-makeup is having a giveaway so go check it out! Prizes will include St Moriz tan which I know a lot of people want to try! All you have to do is be a follower, tell her a fact about yourself and mention the contest on your blog. Easy peasy!

P-p-p Poker Straight Overnight Treatment

The Lee Stafford Poker Straight Overnight Treatment claims to be an "intense overnight conditioning treatment that replenishes, renews and restores damaged hair". It is designed to be applied 15 minutes before bed onto dry hair, then it dries fully and doesn't leave any residue on your pillow. Then in the morning hair can be washed as normal.

As you know I was very impressed with the hair treatment 'For Hair That Never Grows Past A Certain Length' (see reviews here and here) and I have almost run out and can't find anywhere that has it in stock, so I was looking forward to trying out this product.

I think this may be my new favourite! It works and does exactly what it promises to. It is easy to apply and doesn't make a mess. It leaves no residue behind on my pillow and in the morning once I have rinsed my hair in the shower it feels super silky!

I have been using my usual shampoo and conditioner (Clynol) and skipping the serum that I usually use when my hair is wet. I blow-dry my hair in sections and the Overnight Treatment is so effective that minimal or no straightening is required! My hair feels silky soft and really smooth! I have straight hair anyway and this makes it..well, poker straight!

I have been colouring my hair since I was 15 and I'm now 24. I get my hair professionally highlighted every 6 weeks and a trim hardly ever! I am quite particular about the hair products I use and Lee Stafford products rarely fail to disappoint me. The only product I have bought and not used is the dry shampoo spray and that is only because I have never found a dry shampoo that I have liked.

The smell of all the products are very distinctive but nothing too overpowering, I quite like it. And the prices are very reasonable. Next on my list is the surf spray! I really want to give that a go.

Has anyone else had good results with the Overnight Treatment?

P.S. As some of you on Twitter know, I lost my job yesterday and I just wanted to say "thanks" for all the nice messages and emails you sent me. I hated it there and had been unhappy for a while. I was made redundant last summer (yes I'm very unlucky aren't I, lol) and I HAD to find something asap so I took this job and never quite enjoyed it but gave it my best shot anyway. When I mentioned that the job wasn't quite how it had been advertised I was slowly bullied/pushed out and here I am, job hunting yet again!

It's annoying not knowing what I want to do. When I was 18 I thought I would figure it out after working for a couple of years but here I am, at 24, and I STILL don't know what I want to do.

I might look into studying part time.. I just need to find the right subject!

Is anyone else like me? Or do you know exactly what you want to do in life? I'd be really interested to see what everyone does as a career!

Tell Me Something

I have been tagged by the wonderful Wonderlander to do this and straight away I was like 'yay'. I like doing these kind of tags especially when they're so original like this one! I also like being tagged and it makes me smile that people think of me/my blog when they pass these on.

Anyway, I shall answer all of the questions and tag 3 people at the bottom. Enjoy!

1. What is your favourite item of clothing?

My Alexander McQueen scarf. I bought it from Harvey Nichols about 2 years ago for £130 and I have worn it a gazillion times. It jazzes up a plain outfit and it's such a lovely colour. This is the exact one I've got and it is still being sold on Net a Porter!

I sort of collect scarves and I love designer ones. I have quite a few Missoni that I should probably wear more!

2. What are your biggest obsessions?

My dogs, my blog, Nicole Richie, planning things, my future and my hair.

3. Who inspires you?

Nicole Richie, I love her clothes, accessories, hair, make-up, everything! I have to admit though I preferred her when she was a bit wilder :)

4. Who is your favourite designer and why?

Chanel but I will probably never own anything apart from sunglasses, unless I win the lottery.

5. What is your favourite song ever?

I don't have 1 inparticular, I love so many types of music! I like 'Free As A Bird' by The Beatles as it's a beautiful song and makes me feel happy. It sort of reminds me of old times and being a teenager which I like. I love 'Just A Girl' by No Doubt and anything by them reminds me of my best friend.

6. What is your favourite song right now?

Honestly.. I don't have one. I prefer older music than chart stuff.

7. If you were a sweetie what would you be?

A bag of Revels because sometimes I'm hard, sometimes I'm squishy and sometimes I'm sweet!

8. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet- what words would describe your rainbow?

Postboxes, calypso lollies, cheese, bogeys, the ocean, and my favourite pjs which are both indigo & violet :)

9. What's your favourite film?

The Notebook (sooooo original, not!) I love this film. Even though it's sad and makes me cry it makes me happy too. Ryan Gosling is gorge and I could watch it over and over and never get bored. I'm also a fan of anything from the 80s like The Goonies, Return to Oz, The Labyrinth, The Lost Boys, Back To The Future..

10. Who's your favourite actor?

Shia LaBeouf because he is bloomin gorgeous.

11. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?

On a private beach, sunbathing, reading, with waiter service and pure peace and quiet!

12. What are your 3 favourite smells?

My boyfriend's aftershave (Cool Water), my Mum's purple dressing gown and my Soap & Glory handcream.

13. What are your 3 favourite tastes?

Tea, cake and prawns in marie rose sauce.

14. What is your most treasured possession?

I think it would be my photo albums and boxes of photos. They hold so many memories and I would be very sad if I lost them. Also a couple of watches:- my Juicy Couture watch that my boyfriend got me for Christmas and my Dior watch from my parents for my 18th birthday.

15. What did you always want to be/ do when you grew up?

I always wanted to be a Vet but science wasn't my best subject. Then I really wanted to be a famous author/journalist. Then I wanted to be an airline pilot. Needless to say I haven't done any of those things and I'm still trying to figure out which direction to head in!

16. If you were an ice-cream what flavour would you be?

I would be chocolate chip cookie dough as it is blatantly the best ice-cream ever!

17. If someone made a short film of your life, who would play you?

Drew Barrymore. I like her coz she's quirky and beautiful and likeable - not that I'm any of those 3 things! lol.

18. What would your perfect afternoon consist of?

I would go to the park with my dogs and sit in the sun. I would meet my best friend for a hot chocolate and a chat. I would go for a massage/pedicure/facial. Then I would watch a girly film or 2 and then cuddle with my bf.

19. If you were a flower, what would you be?

Probably a daffodil because they are a happy kind of flower.

20. Tell me a random thing....be it your favourite line from a song, scene from a movie or quote from a book.....tell me about something that you love.....

I like the Shakespeare quote "come what come may, time and the hour runs through the roughest day". I heard it once and have never forgotten it.

I tag:

My first Eyeko purchase and Boots vs. Superdrug

I have desperately been on the hunt for a concealer lately but haven't been particularly impressed by any that I've tried.

But then.. I was walking out of Superdrug last week when I noticed the tiniest shelf in a corner behind a stand which belonged to Eyeko!

I had been planning to make a purchase on the Eyeko website (using one of the ambassador codes to get a freebie) but Superdrug had an offer on Eyeko and there was about £1/£2 off everything.

The Touch Up & Go concealer was about £3.50 (normally £5.00) and straight away I was impressed, even just dabbing a bit on my hand! I decided to buy it and give it a whirl as it was so cheap.
.
It is perfect and covers my dark circles instantly. It glides on nicely and doesn't feel like it's just "sitting" on the surface.

Top marks for this, I love it!

I like the look of the 3 in 1 cream and the pale pink nail polish so I think they will be my next purchases! The cream is £6.00 and the nail polishes are £3.00 each.

Click here for the online store. There is free shipping worldwide too which I think is fab!

Also, I was in Superdrug today and I have to mention the terrible music in there. There was some sort of Amy Winehouse going on and I'm not lying, I could have done better myself. Do they do it on purpose as a joke!? (for people not in the UK, they play well-known songs covered by random singers who can't seem to sing).

There seemed to be 33% off nearly everything in there too! I picked up some of their Tea Tree sensitive cleansing wipes for around £1.40. They also have the new Garnier Pure Active range on offer. I want to try it but after my Clean & Clear disaster I'm scared to try anything too harsh. I like the look of the roll-on spot zapper though!

"Hi, I don't have any spots!"

I'm starting to prefer Superdrug to Boots, which makes me feel somewhat of a traitor. I used to work at Boots when I was studying in sixth form and I love the whole advantage card thing, but they just seem so pricey and don't have as many offers as Superdrug. If Superdrug got involved with Soap & Glory and Lee Stafford I would be fully converted!

Which do you prefer?

OOTD (sort of) & recent films I've seen

Lily & Lola wanted to show everyone their favourite t-shirts they wear when the weather gets cold. We got them from Islands of Adventure in Orlando, from the Dr Seuss shop. "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" seems very appropriate for them!

Don't they look adorable?
.
I don't dress them up for enjoyment. They genuinely get cold! Pugs don't do so well in extreme heat or extreme cold, and when it's cold they shiver and refuse to do their business! Bless 'em.
.
I had a good weekend but I'm so so tired today. The wedding was great; photos coming soon!
.
I also just wanted to mention a film I watched last week; The Secret Life of Bees. This was my sort of film! I watched it on my own as I knew it would make me cry (this is the girl who cried at the end of Blair Witch Project for god's sake!?). It did make me cry, several times, but it also made me think, made me laugh, made me grateful and made me smile. Check it out, I know you will love it!

On a completely different tangent, I went to see Bruno last night. Oh.My.God. It is without a doubt the rudest film I've ever seen at the cinema. It was very funny in parts, but most of it I was in disbelief at the things he was saying/doing! At the end he could have been killed, seriously! (if you've seen it you will know what I mean!)

Roll on Wednesday, I'm going to see Harry Potter straight from work! :)

What have you seen at the cinema lately? Did everyone have a good weekend?

Shoes, weddings, Sleek palette & face update!

Yesterday on my way home from work I got caught in a serious downpour and my lovely Topshop pumps were ruined :( So today I hotfooted it to Primark for some cheapos but ended up only seeing one pair that I liked and at £11 I thought they were pretty pricey for Primark! lol. They have cute black and gold bows on the front and are perfect for work.

I'm in London over the weekend for my Cousins wedding and I needed some new shoes. I wanted some nude/neutral shoes that would come in handy for future wedding-type events and I found a perfect pair in Dorothy Perkins. They are moderately comfortable but my only concern is my usual size were slipping off so I had to go for the size below which may mean some rubbing occurs tomorrow! Never mind.. I love them anyway!

I just realised I subconsciously mainly buy shoes with bows on.

This is the dress I'm going to wear. It was £70 from Warehouse last year and I've worn it to 1 wedding and on New Years Eve so it could do with another outing. It's lovely, it has netting underneath so it poofs out like a prom dress.

I popped into Superdrug for a Sleek palette and was pleased to see they had the Safari one. I'm going to do brown/gold subtle eye make-up for the wedding and this will be perfect.

Thanks for the advice you have all given me in relation to my Clean & Clear face massacre. For 2 nights now I have rubbed Bio Oil into the dry areas and left it on for a couple of hours then rinsed and layered on the Sudocrem and I have seen a massive change. It looks much better. It still feels dry and a bit tight but hopefully it will look ok on the photos tomorrow! That's the main thing.

Have a great weekend girlies! xxx
